SPORTS REACTION

Although capturing the moment of nail-biting intensity is the most climactic moment, catching what happens a split second after the penalty kick, free throw or pop fly is more memorable than that moment itself. Reactions to wins, losses and everything in between is what lets people feel the emotion and the true feelings that the players and fans had. As a photojournalist, it is rewarding to get a celebration dance or the moment of triumph than an action shot– it tells more of a story and intrigues everyone.

It is one thing to photograph people. It is another to make others care about them by revealing the core of their humanness.
