YEARBOOK

Seeing my horizons expand when I began designing with the newsmagazine was exciting. I knew that in the upcoming school year I was needing to take the lead on designing the 2018 Aerie yearbook. In the beginning, I was inspired because my final project was a head start on the theme for the year. My co-editors and I argued and contemplated over many theme ideas and designs throughout the summer, really at a loss and confused at what to do. We finally decided on my designs and compromised on a theme at the beginning of the school year. I was truly scrambling at the beginning of the year, cranking out designs quickly so we could generate pages. I am proud of how the pages turned out since I was starting from scratch so late into the deadline.

After working closely with the editors, we sat down and designed the cover with Jostens professionals. It was exciting to see our theme and designs come to action.

This is the first chronological spread in the yearbook. The colors vary between seasons but the mods and design elements are fairly similar throughout our six variations of spreads.

This is the fall sports divider I designed for the yearbook. I wanted something to match our chronological designs but also be refreshing.
